Our 1.4 million members are public defenders in Minnesota; vegetable workers in California; sanitation workers in New York; brewers in St. Louis; newspaper workers in Seattle; construction workers in Las Vegas; zoo keepers in Pennsylvania; healthcare workers in Rhode Island; bakery workers in Maine; airline pilots, secretaries and police officers. Sierra Club Juniper Group
Dedicated to preserving Central Oregon's environment, natural resources, and quality of life. The Juniper Group encompasses most of Central and Eastern Oregon, including Baker, Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Malheur, Morrow, Umatilla, and Wallowa counties.
Oregon League of Conservation Voters
The Oregon League of Conservation Voters is a non-partisan organization with a simple mission:
Educate voters about how their legislators vote on the environment and to hold these legislators accountable.
OLCV has more than 3,000 members across the state and is recognized as a strong leader and effective watchdog for the environment.
United Food and Commercial Workers
Working men and women across the United States and Canada are proud to call the UFCW their union. UFCW’s 1.3 million members work in a range of industries, with the majority working in retail food, meatpacking and poultry, food processing and manufacturing, and retail stores. We are North America’s neighborhood union, and the largest union of young workers with 40 percent of UFCW members under the age of 30.
The Truman Club of Central Oregon
The Truman Club supports progressive Democratic candidates for local and statewide offices. The club also hosts events with prominent political leaders, raises and distributes campaign contributions, and provides a forum for discussing important community and regional issues.
Basic Rights Oregon
Since 2000, Basic Rights Oregon (BRO) has built a diverse movement made up of GLBT folks, straight-allies, rural and urban Oregonians, business leaders, clergy, elected officials, educators, parents and more as well as coalition partners in labor, healthcare, reproductive choice, civil liberties and racial justice organizations.
United Transportation Union
The United Transportation Union (UTU), an AFL-CIO affiliate headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. We are a broad-based, transportation labor union representing about 125,000 active and retired railroad, bus and mass transit workers in the United States and Canada.
Oregon School Employees Association
The Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA), an affiliate of the American Federation of Teachers, is a labor union representing nearly 21,000 Oregonians working predominantly in public education. OSEA members work in Oregon's Head Start programs, K-12 schools, ESDs, community colleges, libraries, and park and recreation districts. As one of the largest labor unions in Oregon, and with the second largest membership of educational staff, OSEA is a recognized leader within the state's labor and education community.
